Browns will keep Alex Mack; Team decides to match offer sheet
Today the Cleveland Browns decided to match the offer sheet that the Jacksonville Jaguars offered for center Alex Mack. Alex Mack signed an offer sheet early yesterday morning for $42 million over five years. The Browns had 8 days to match the offer, but didnt’t waste anyti,e according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Browns quickly jumped to sign the offer sheet to keep him in Cleveland.
