Browns are looking at a couple possible coaches for their vacancy; Seattle’s defensive coordinator could be gone

Seattle defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is on the short list of head coaching candidates for the Cleveland Browns.

The Browns have requested permission to interview Quinn, sources confirmed Monday to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Cleveland fired head coach Rob Chudzinski on Sunday night after only one season on the job. Quinn can be interviewed started Jan 5, which would be six days before Seattle’s playoff opener at Century Link Field.

Another person of interest is Josh McDaniels, who the Browns have asked permission to talk too. McDaniels is guiding Tom Brady in New England, and as of yesterday Tom Brady said he didn’t want to lose him.  So it will be interesting to where that goes.

The Browns have requested permission to interview Cardinals DC Todd Bowles for their head-coaching vacancy.
