Broncos get Montee Ball back from appendectomy; Hopes to play Thursday
Just two weeks ago Montee Ball underwent an appendectomy. The running back was hoping to get back soon from the injury and he was able to do it very quickly. Ball ran for 559 rushing yards as a rookie, but will now be the main back in Denver. Ball was a stud in college, and I expect him to tear it up in 2014.

Even though Ball received his doctor’s clearance, the Broncos’ medical team may not allow him to take contact during practices Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in preparation to play Houston. And he may not play in the Broncos’ third preseason game against the Texans.
“But I am hoping so,” he said. “I’m tired of sitting around.”
