Why is Brandon Flowers a no-show to OTA’s? Will he be traded soon?
Brandon Flowers has been a no-show for the Kansas City Chiefs OTA’s and while they are not considered mandatory, why wouldn’t Flowers be at the mini camp? Is it because he is sick of hearing his name being thrown around as a trade candidate? Well today Andy Reid stated that he did not tell Flowers to stay away from the Chiefs facility.
Coach Andy Reid answered media questions Thursday for the first time since the Kansas City Chiefs started offseason practice, and he talked about both linebacker Justin Houston and cornerback Brandon Flowers, saying Flowers was not asked to stay away from the workouts.
“I’ve been around this a long time and I understand the business side,” Reid said. “These are voluntary. That’s not a distraction. We just focus on the guys and coach the guys that are here, and these guys are working their tails off.
“Everybody has the dates. They know. Everybody knows the rules.”
Some feel Brandon Flowers is on his way out, including Adam Teicher who stated this on Sirius XM Radio.

@AdamTeicher: I think there is a good chance Brandon Flowers days in KC might be over. #SXMNFL #Chiefs
If that is the case, do not be surprised to see if a team like Seattle goes after the tall lengthy corner. Imagine Flowers added to the Legion of Boom? He might be a better all around corner than Brandon Browner, WOW.
