Tight End

Laval University Rouge et or

Where are you from?

I am from a small village named Notre-Dame Des Pins in the province of QC in Canada.

Who is your role model, and why?

Mathieu Bertrand. He is a former CFL full-back / tight end and he is an example of a resilient person and he is always positive in everything he does in his life. Everyone loves him because he does a lot in his community to help people in need.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played a little bit of basketball. I did some competitions in natation as well.

Did you play any other positions in football?

I played QB the first 7 years of my career . I have also played a little bit of safety when I was young.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I think my aggressiveness is mainly what separates me from others and the fact that I am a very good technician.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

First I try to understand how defenses adjust to formations and why they do certain stuff. I also try to see the weakness of the players I will play against whether it is a defensive end a linebacker or a DB.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

David Ménard

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Scott Chandler. I think I am an aggressive tight end and a good run blocker and like he is and I think without being the fastest on the field I can still do a good job as a receiver.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

I got bullied a lot in the beginning of my high school. I did not do anything special to overcome that except making better friends who helped me to get confidence in my life.

No I try not to be superstitious as a player because you get crazy a little bit with all those stuff.

What is your biggest strength?

I think the combination of my aggressiveness as a player and my ability to run block can be my biggest strength.

Antony Auclair

What is your biggest weakness?

I do not like the word weakness but I rather say that some things you have to work on more than others and I would say that I have to do a better job controlling my energy on a football field. What I mean by that is when I do a big play I tend to be too excited and when I do bad play I tend to lose my concentration. I think the key is really to never get too high and never get to low and focus on the next play.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am a blue collar worker and I aim for greatness.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

The Philadelphia Eagles were my favourite team growing up and my favourite player was Donovan Mcnabb .

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I would not buy a big item. I would give back to my community.
