Al Davis was all about Oakland; Look what he turned down in 1995

In 1995, the first year the Raiders moved to Oakland the NFL begged Al Davis to take the Raiders back to Los Angeles.

According to Darren Rovell, they put a sweet offer on the table, but the old man said no for his people in Oakland.

@darrenrovell: At NFL owner’s meetings in 1995, the NFL offered Al Davis 90% financing on a new LA stadium & 2 Super Bowls between 2000-2006. He passed.
