Al Davis wanted to move the Raiders to Las Vegas?
Al Davis was a very amazing person, and many of the stories of Al Davis make you smile, because he was such a legend in the football industry. Well there are reports now that say the legendary owner wanted to move his team to Las Vegas.
According to former Raiders quarterback David Humm, owner Al Davis wanted to move his team to Sin City.
“He would have loved to have moved the Raiders here. He told me that many times. He loved this town,” Humm told the Las Vegas Review-Journal this week. “But there’s no way commissioner Pete Rozelle would have allowed it because of the sports books and gambling.”
I don’t know about you, but I could see Al Davis wanting something like this. It sounds right up Al Davis’ alley. What do you think?
