49ers are trying to sign Anquan Boldin to a multi-year contract
Just a few days ago I had Anquan Boldin getting paid by someone else in free agency, but according to CSN Bay Area, the San Francisco 49ers are trying to lock up Boldin to a mult-year deal.
The 49ers acquired wide receiver Anquan Boldin in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens and paid him a $6 million salary. Now, the sides are negotiating a multi-year extension that could prevent Boldin from being available when free agents can begin negotiating with other teams on March 8.
It will be interesting to see what the 33 year old lands in a contract deal.
