Five FBS prospects that are not getting any love from the media

Wide Receiver Preston Williams runs up field after making a catch against the Hawaii State Warriors in the first quarter of play at Canvas Stadium on August 25, 2018 in Fort Collins, CO. (Elliott Jerge | Collegian)

I love talking about the NFL Draft, and I love helping small schoolers, but there are some big school kids who are not getting any love from the national media either. It bothers me when players are swept under the rug, and not given any love. I feel like I have to step up and show some sleepers because there are sleepers at all levels. So enough of the talking, let’s show some sleepers.

Tyre Brady, WR, Marshall – The kid had 71 receptions for 1000 plus yards, but you hear about every other wideout than him. I do not get it, I am sorry this makes me mad. I want you to just watch the video below and please take notes. This kid is a freak and should be getting talked about as a mid-round pick.

Khalil Hodge, LB, Buffalo – Yes, this is the most slept on defensive player in the FBS. He played in the MAC, who cares, the kid is a monster and a leader. He has been a stud for the UB Bulls and will continue to be a stud in the NFL.

Kris Boyd, DB, Texas – I have seen Mock Drafts where this kid is going in the seventh round. I am sorry, but this kid is a mid-round pick to me. He is a nightmare for wideouts, and tight ends. Kris Boyd will be a pro bowler at the next level. Remember what I said.

Devine Ozigbo, RB, Nebraska – By the end of the season, Ozigbo had rushed for 1,082 yards and 12 touchdowns in 12 games. He became Nebraska’s first 1,000-yard rusher since Ameer Abdullah in 2014. He also ended with an average of 6.98 yards per carry, which put him at fourth in the Big Ten among players, but everyone is talking about Josh Jacobs, Damien Harris and every other running back.

Preston Williams, WR, Colorado State – I am sorry this kid is not a late round pick. I do not care what he did off the field, I would take him with a mid-round pick. He is my ultimate sleeper. Preston Williams is a big wideout who can go up and get the ball. I hope my team takes this kid because he has the attributes to be a Super Star!
