The NFL Draft is coming up in a couple days and there is a player from Idaho who is turning heads. Kaden Elliss has some pretty amazing blood lines, and NFL teams are falling in love with the pass rusher from the Idaho.

Luther Elliss, who played 10 years as a defensive tackle in the NFL and was a two-time Pro Bowler, is the father of Kaden Elliss. Luther went through a pro day at Utah back in the day, but his son did something at his pro day that blew scouts away.

In a drill in which he simulated coming off a double team and bursting through the adjoining gap, Kaden Elliss moved laterally with startling quickness and got his hands under an individual blocking sled. He raised it as easily as a hoist lifts a car. But instead of simply cutting off it, he flipped it – threw the sled aside as though it was a lawn chair. Twice. Former Vandals teammates and other spectators from the athletics department in the Kibbie Dome stands expressed their appreciation, per the Spokesman.

Elliss seems likely to be a Day 2 or Day 3 prospect given his small-school background. Elliss certainly looks the part of an NFL linebacker. Listed at 6 feet 3 and 240 pounds, Elliss was productive at Idaho. Over 11 games in 2018, Elliss combined for 60 tackles and seven sacks.

Elliss posted a 34.5-inch vertical jump, 4.58-second 40-yard dash, and a 6.49-second 3-cone drill. Kaden Elliss is a player you better keep an eye on because there are a few teams that have fallen in love with him.
