What are the Chiefs thinking? They are giving up what for Frank Clark?

Frank Clark to the Chiefs is a good move, but is it worth it?  I think the Chiefs were taking to the ringer by the Seahawks.

I am sorry, I like Frank Clark he is a great player, but what is the big difference between Frank Clark and Dee Ford?  The only thing you can tell me is age.  Both wanted a large contract, both will get it.  The Chiefs however had Dee Ford on their roster already.

Dee was traded for a 2020 2nd round pick, and now the Chiefs are going to give up their first round pick, a 2020 2nd round pick and a swap of third round picks? I have to look at this trade a little closer. I feel like the Chiefs are getting taken to the ringer.

They basically traded Dee Ford, for Frank Clark a 1st round pick and a swap of third round picks.

With that being said, how are they different? Dee Ford is 28, Frank Clark is 25.  Dee Ford has 137 tackles, and 30.5 sacks, while Frank Clark in one less year has 136 tackles and 35 sacks.  I am not saying Clark is not a better player here, but how much better is he? Is he a first rounder and a swap of third rounders plus Dee Ford?

Yes, Clark has 66 QB hits, 31 tackles for loss and seven forced fumbles, but Dee Ford has 53 QB hits, 29 tackles for loss and 9 force fumbles. Add in the fact that Dee Ford, missed 10 games in 2017. Clark has played in every game with no injuries.

This trade is not a good one for the Chiefs. I am sorry Chiefs fans, you can think I am hating, but this is an awful lot for Frank Clark.

Add in the fact that Dee Ford was given a 5 year contract worth 87.5 million dollars, and just imagine what Frank Clark is going to want. 100 million dollars might not be out of the picture.

PS – Chiefs just agreed to a deal for 5 years, and 105 million dollars – FRANK CLARK GOT PAID
