Five Small School Wide Receivers you should know about before the 2019 NFL Draft!

Kam’ron Lewis is a player you better remember before the Draft starts. If you are a draftnik and you have not heard about him, it is time to dig into the tape, because he is a stud.

The NFL Draft is quickly approaching and I feel there are so many good players you should know about but I want to introduce 5 players you may have not heard about. When the Draft comes along, everyone has heard of the guys given Combine invites, or the guys the mainstream media may be talking about, but what about the kids who are not getting the love they deserve? When it comes to the wide receiver position, everyone is going to talk about the big named players like Hakeem Butler and DK Metcalf. Do not get me wrong, they are both studs, but if I talk about them right now I am not giving someone who was not given a huge platform at the combine a shot. So let’s talk about some Diamonds in the Rough!

Kam’ron Lewis, WR, Saint Francis PA – This is one of my favorite players in the entire NFL Draft. I love this kid he is a freak of a player with monstrous frame. He is 6040 and was a dominate force at the FCS level. He is being widely overlooked, he will be on a roster at the beginning of a the season.

Alexander Hollins, WR, Eastern Illinois – Hollins is a burner who will make cornerbacks regret faking on that double move. He dogged Arkayear and year and looked like a wide receiver number 1. He reminds me of John Brown coming out of Pitt State, he is a beast and someone that needs to be looked at in the final rounds of the draft.

Karonce Higgins, WR, Southern Arkansas – This kid is not getting any love from the National Media, and he should be. He was a force for Southern Arkansas. Last year their tight end made a roster, this year Higgins will be on a roster or a practice squad. He is a 6010 player who can do it all, return and be a number 1.

Nsimba Webster, WR, Eastern Washington – He was one of the most prolific quarterbacks in high school football, we have seen the video of Lamar Jackson faking a kid out, but Nsimba faked out an entire team. This kid has turned into one of the best wide receivers in the FCS. He was able to learn from guys like Cooper Kupp, and Kendrick Bourne. Remember his name come April’s draft.

Richard Johnson, WR, East Texas Baptist University – The kid has a great frame, and soft hands. NFL teams love him, and they invited him to a big pro day to get a very good look at him. His film does not lie, he is a stud, the question was will it translate. I feel they walked away believing it would.
