Packers head coach gets upset when asked about Colin Kaepernick
Colin Kaepernick is a Milwaukee, Wisconsin native, so when Aaron Rodgers was injured, you had to assume the questions would arise about Kaeepernick, right?
Kaepernick feels he is the best quarterback on the market, and he probably should feel that way. The quarterbacks who are signed before Kap so far have been pathetic. With that being said, when Mike McCarthy the head coach of the Packers was asked about the possibility of Kaepernick being brought in he SNAPPED. A reporter asked:
“Is there any idea of bringing Colin Kaepernick in to compete for that backup job?”
McCarthy glared at the reporter and went off on an angry tirade.
“Did you just listen to the question I just answered? I’ve got three years invested in Brett Hundley, two years invested in Joe Callahan, the quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be. OK? We’re fortunate to have a great quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, we’re committed to the path we’re on. We need to play better as a football team. Brett Hundley will start this week and Joe Callahan will be the backup,” McCarthy said.
By the sounds of it, I do not believe Kaepernick will be getting a shot with the Packers…..
